I'd look for a donopr car because by the time you get everything you're going to need it's going to cost you about the same anyway. The engine at the site you have listed is a bare engine; you're going to need intake and exhaust manifolds, carburetors, alternator, and a lot of other items just to get it to the running stage. The transmission will also need to be bought and of course, you'll also need a frame for the 'buggy, front suspension, steering, brakes and a lot of other items as well. Been there, done that. It's much cheaper to buy a used VW and work from that point.

Horses for courses, but we've always know the pivot or wrist pin as the "Gudgeon Pin", Piston arm ???, lol, yeah, i agree, its a "Con Rod". Dont know where the world get their phrases from, but its all a bit strange sometimes. I suppose we all just have a bit of a laugh & move on. Well illistrated though, thanks. P.S., can you show us how a piston ported two stroke works in comparison to a rotary valve & reed system please. ta
